People in beta / Festival at betahaus on 1st October 2011

Berlin is becoming more and more home for creative start-ups and new ideas -effecting form and content of work. Of course betahaus likes that trend, so we host our first People in beta Festival on 1^st of October to unite makers, coworkers and startups and make coworking also accessible for others.

The day will start with a community breakfast, where we will hand out the Awesome Foundation Award again. The application process has already started at http://

Our programm during the day will offer you talks, co-working sessions (among others Soundcloud, Eyeem, Ezeep, 6Wunderkinder, Vision Speeddating, Doonited, Third Wave) and a huge range of DIY Workshops in Open Design City and Makerplatz.

At the end of the day we host another Betapitch, to support the Startups of the future. You can already apply with your onepager (for more information see http://www.betapitch.de/). The winning team gets a teamroom six months for free, including some coaching program. Among potential investors, there are also some rockstars from the startup scene in the jury.

We will celebrate the end of the day and the end of summertime with a huge party.
